Hello all. I recently downloaded the nanoCAD to try it and to compare it with AutoCAD LT.
I have used it for about an hour to check if functions I use in everyday AutoCAD really work on the program. I can say that I am amazed of how the developers made such an effort! The program has minor differences in AutoCAD and if someone is using it for 2D drafting then it can replace the expensive and overestimated AutoCAD.
Some points I would like to talk about and some questions I want to make:
1) I miss the command shortcuts inside commands. To explain myself: Let's say we are in polyline command and we want to close the plolyline. Is there any other way than to click with the mouse on command line the Close? Because bressing "C" doesn't work (or am I doing something wrong here?)
2)I miss some of the most common Express tools. These are: EXTRIM, TORIENT, OVERKILL.
3)There is no Fence selection. Only rectangular?
4)Is there any way to import vector pdf as vector? (Like AutoCAD 2017)
5)I miss filter command (there must be something but I cannot find it)
6)Is there anyway to show commands on the dynamic input instead on the command line?
7)There is no option to make an arc-> convert to line or the opposite, when you are in the polyline command.
8)Autolisp has some bugs. For example: I wrote a small script to import points from a txt file. There is a while loop. In AutoCAD it works like a charm, In nanoCAD it stops on the first loop. (I can write the script bellow if it needed).
There are the only things I found not working, until now. I would be great-full if I could receive some answers on these.
